2026 Crab Feed

2026 GGFA Crab Feed — Join Us to Support Bay-Delta Fisheries
Pull up a chair for a night of great food and even better purpose. Since 1948, the Golden Gate Fishermen’s Association has represented Northern California’s charter fleet and marine recreational anglers, working with state and federal partners to protect and restore the San Francisco Bay-Delta ecosystem and the communities who depend on healthy fisheries. Your ticket helps fuel that work.

In recent years, California’s salmon seasons faced unprecedented closures—hard on coastal families, small businesses, and the boats that carry our fishing community. Showing up to this fundraiser directly supports GGFA’s advocacy at the tables that shape fishery policy and recovery.

Reserve seats or a full table today and be part of keeping our fisheries—and the people who rely on them—strong for the long haul.

Why this crab feed matters

The Golden Gate Fishermen’s Association (GGFA) is a nonprofit coalition representing commercial passenger fishing vessels (charter boats) and marine recreational anglers across Northern California. Our mission is to preserve and enhance California’s fisheries and natural resources, with a special focus on the fish-producing habitats of the San Francisco Bay-Delta. Founded in 1948, GGFA collaborates with local, state, and federal partners to improve the health of marine and anadromous fish and the communities that depend on them.

Recent salmon season shutdowns underscored how fragile the fishery can be—and how important strong, science-based advocacy is for recovery and for the livelihoods tied to fishing. Your support at this event helps GGFA keep a steady voice at advisory bodies and management forums that guide everything from habitat to harvest.

What your ticket supports

  • Policy & advocacy: A seat at key councils/committees that influence fishery decisions affecting Bay-Delta habitat, hatchery practices, and the charter/recreational fleet.

  • Community & fleet representation: GGFA represents charter vessels from the Oregon border to Monterey and the anglers they carry—an economic and cultural backbone for our coast.

  • Education & outreach: Clear, timely communication to members, anglers, and decision-makers about conditions on the water and solutions that sustain fishing for the future.
